Established in Punjab, India this is an educational institution with a special focus of delivering quality education in engineering and computer applications. The campus, in fact, measures 600 acres, and provides the students with sufficient grounds on which to excel academically. Out of 93 students in total intake, there are 4 faculties that enable the college to give adequate attention to each intaking student. The institution teaches 4 programs out of which 2 courses are taught at 2 different degrees in specializations in computer science, electronics and computer application, to meet the present day technological demands.

This college has made available various accommodation facilities in order to improve on students learning environment. The central part of a technological structure is the University Computer Centre, founded in 1986. This centralised resource facilitator intends to facilitate the extent of ready accessible computing facilities available to students, research scholars, teachers and employees. It has Wi-Fi facilities and Communications for academic and research dealings within the campus. To those who need a place to stay, the university is equipped with modern hostels for boys and girls with WiFi connection andSecurity cameras included in the premise. The Bhai Kahn Singh Nabha Library is functioning as a center for scholars and researchers, with rich bibliography references in books, periodicals and journals as well as digital form. It consists of a large reading area and a special conditioned night reading library to accommodate the readers’ needs.

From this point of view, College of Engineering and Management offers a specific range of academic programs. The institution currently has four full-time programs; two B.Tech programs and two diplomas designed to prepare the students to fit the growing technological market. The total approved intake for these courses is one hundred and twenty students, and each program shall for thirty students. This will enable the university to maintain an appropriate student to faculty ratio thereby improving student learning and interaction.

The admission process in the College of Engineering and Management also differs according to the course taken. For B.Tech courses in Computer Science and Engineering and Electronics and Computer Engineering students are admitted through JEE Main ranks or marks obtained in the qualifying class. The above two-fold approach helps the college to capture the students who are gifted in these areas. For the diploma programs offered in Computer Engineering and Computer Application, competent admission is made according to the performance achieved in the previous class. It enables the institution make judgments about the candidates based on how well they have performed to the expected levels.
