Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University is a constituent college in Nagpur, Maharashtra and boasts one of its premier departments in the field of Business Management which was established in 1970. It is a management institution affiliated to the AICTE approved institution which focuses on providing specialized education in business administration for young and enthusiastic management professionals. The department has a strength of 3 full time faculties which give personalized attention to the students. The institute provides 2 programmes: Master of Business Administration MBA and Diploma in Business Management, which prepare students to better manoeuvre in today’s business environment. 

In a bid to support students learning, the Department of Business Management provides numerous facilities that help learner’s experiences. To our surprise, the college had a librarian that was well stocked with all kind of books and other academic records for the students to read from. For those interested in mounting hobby, exercise, or recreation, there are sports facilities to encourage distinct harmony between studies and health. It also boasts of well equipped IT facilities so that the students should be conversant with technological developments in the business environment. Furthermore, it has departmental laboratories that enhance practical, or practical application of knowledge in addition to theoretical aspect. The Department of Business Management offers two full-time courses: another program in MBA that takes two years and a Diploma in Business Management that takes one year. 

Each of these programs was approved for an intake of 60 students and, therefore, provide for a total of 120 students in these courses. The MBA program most especially is aimed at offering management education to prepare students to assume leadership responsibilities in different sectors in business. The Diploma program also provides a shorter but comprehensive overview of business management principles of benefit to learners wishing to gain employment soon or build up on prior knowledge. 

Regarding to admission procedure, it is important to note that the Department of Business Management provides admission facilities and it based on Merit. MBA aspirant have to write entrance examinations like the Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) or the Management Aptitude Test (MAT). The selection is done through the above listed entrance tests, thus only the deserving candidates get admission into the program. It would however be pertinent to note that the department values quality education to its core, and this has been evident from the fact that the admission processes this school uses to ensure that the most appropriate student who will transform into a future business leader is selected.
