My college does have all the necessary facilities like smart board , practical equipment, clean classroom with comfortable seats clean and hygiene washroom and all are well maintained, food is not that good .My curriculum is good but it can be more better.
My course is combination of different courses like travel, hotels, computer, hospitality, food production and all. I'm enrolled in this course because it provide wide range of learning. My course makes us job ready.
Our college does not provide good placement opportunities, the average package is very low upto 2-3lakh per annum, and highest is around 8 lakh , our department support us in placement but all students does not get it .
This course is cost around 75 thousand per year only academics without exam fee and other fees if one is really interested in this syllabus then ofcourse it is worth but not for all students who thing they get best college life.
Our college campus is really good , with many facilities like sports, gym etc and teachers and all faculty are very supportive in education and other things out campus have two separate hostel for boys and girls.
Good college.
BBA building infrastructure is not up to the mark , shortage of classroom is main problem with it. We have facilities like smart board, kitchen area for food production subject and housekeeping equipments all are well maintained and 100 percent working.food is the concern as it not healthy.
I'm studying BBA in hospitality and facilities management because this course have a potential to create good career for one. Faculty is good provide necessary assistance when required. Our curriculum is also good especially the 4th semester which is industrial training that give us a hint of practical life .
Placement is not that good MBA program have good placement but not for the BBA , around 60 Percent students get placed , the highest package is around 15 lakh per annum and average is 3 to 4 lakh per annum . The placement process is quite easy if one is already a member of Placement cell but get bit difficult for other students.
Our course fees is 70 to 75 k per year excluding hostel , mess and exam fee expenses. Yes it is worth as quality of education is high and supportive faculty make us even more confident about the course.
Our college campus is build around in 400 acers property which is very huge. and it is very green area, many trees and garden. And whole area is safe , efficient security staff with good attitude, our campus provide many other extra curricular activities like sports.
Good college , very economical every one can afford.
College building is good clean and hygienic but have less space , it have minimal facilities and equipment it can be more better. We have smart board in classroom and projector as well with good seats for Students , we have 2 libraries as well in campus. Food is not that good .
I'm studying hotel industry and service sector because I want to create future in this filed. Our curriculum is old fashioned it can be more better. Yes but not a handsome salary job. It provides us a minimal salary job.
Pumba has best placement cell, students and faculty both are contributing to that , on average 75-80 percent students get good job. Average salary is approx 5to6lac . Placement process is quite smooth and college support us .
It is really good college in less fees , it cost around 70 to 75 thousand per year. Yes it is worth to invest in this college. Because this type of course usually ask for high fees but here we get the same in low fees
Our college campus is good as it is green but it is too huge one person can not look fully at once, we have many facilities where students can engage like sports , gym, yoga etc.. Here students form other countries also study. It is a safe campus due to high no. Of security.
I'm satisfied with the college till now. It a perfect place for less income group students.
Our college doesn't have any much facilities for doing research and projects. And we don't have any exposure, Our building is clean and hygiene but we do not have WiFi facilities, Apart form building our campus is not clean especially Hostels, and we have smart boards and library facilities which is well maintained, but food is not hygienic at all.
I am studying the service industry because I am highly interested in it, No our curriculum is not updated at all, it is very old and does not meet daily living standards, we can get a medium range of salary after completing your course.
after completing BBA it's difficult to get a good amount of salary so we need to enroll in the MBA program for getting a good amount of salary.the percentage of the placement of 93% and average placement amount 300000-400000 rupees.
for international student, it is almost 100000 rupees per year plus external costs.
it's not too good for my side as an international student they didn't consider any side.we have a lot of official work but they didn't help us anymore. we need to do it on our own. sometimes it really difficult.
Our department lack in infrastructure. We are having 2 classrooms for 3 batches, also the classes are too small. We have proper kitchen for F&B Practical. But yes, we have some good facilities too. We are equipped with smart boards, we have library which has every book that a management student needs. We also get hostel which has average quality rooms.
I wanted to explore a different field of study so I chose Bachelor of Business Administration in Hospitality and Facilities management (BBA-HFM). But when I attended lectures then I realized that this course is not that good. The major learning in this course is in the field of Hospitality Operations, Facilities operation and Tourism. It is a mixture of different fields. So I think normal BBA would be better than BBA-HFM.
Placement for BBA-HFM is very poor. The major recruiters are from Hotel industry or Retail sector. Average placement percentage is 70%. Students get an average package of 3-3.5 lakh per annum. And the highest package is of 5.4 lakh.
ROI is very low. Students pay fee of 70,000 per annum plus living cost about 1 lakh per annum. Total cost of 3 year is around 5 lakh and average placement is 3.5 lakh.
In Savitribai Phule Pune University, campus life is good. We have lush green campus of 411 acres. In our campus we have huge canteen, grocery stores, dairy products and laundry shop as well.
Try for other colleges and universities first.
The infrastructure of a college plays a vital role in the development of the college as the students are now focusing on the labs, class rooms, etc while selecting a college. It is important that the colleges have very good infrastructure this helps students in many ways....So yes my college has a very good infrastructure the ambience is so damn cool.....we have access to Wi-Fi. For physical fitness our college provides gym facilities, classes with projectors and white board.............. ......
I'm studying BBA HFM which is batchelor in business administration specialized in hospitality and facilities management this is a new and interesting course for the students and opens up lot of doors for future as the faculties are very helpful and teaches with good approach students enjoy being in class syllabus is also intresting...they don't only teach bookish things they help to develop skills and identify the potential, definitely after passing out from here you'll see a big difference.....
Placement from our college is not excilent but being an undergraduate courses inclined towards service sector their are lot of options to go but the pay packages are low around 1-2 lac per annum...... which is fine but thought college placement cell won't offer much of the opportunity you'll have to find your self. Highest package offered was around 5-6 lac per annum which was in tourism sector.so ya overall it's fine if you are really interested in service sector you grow and take opportunity..
Expense for a year is 63-65k per annum for college and full course for 3 year it's goes around 2.5-3 lac and it's really worth the ROI is great . because getting a batchelor degree from a gov college with a good quality of teaching and infrastructure with such a low cost is definitely worth doing and if you take placement you cover all the expenses in 1-2 year. And return on investment is good and for people outside pune hostels are provided with very low rates 10000 for one year that's great!!!
Campus of our university is really amazing such a beautiful campus with lots of facilities like hostels mess gym sports areas like indor hall basketball court badminton court and what not. Medical facilities are also there but i won't recommend that for serious situation for emergency it's fine but if you can go to other good Dr please go. Doctors in the health centre is not good . But life at campus is definitely worth living students from all over India come to study even from other countries.
The department building is very small and does not have wifi , and it have only 2 classrooms which make it difficult when all there years students come on the same day , one class have to adjust in housekeeping lab .Hostel are very poor not hygienic at all almost every time water shortage have to be face and food is not that good to eat regularly.
I'm studying BBA HFM because I'm interested in service sector. Teaching is very good , faculty are very supportive and helpful but sometimes becomes boaring . Yes curriculum is old i think it needs changes to meet daily Life challenges, if one is from commerce background then the curriculum some how is the same for some subject
Placement is average till know but in future i think it will become more worst. Placement is all driven by students in guidance of teachers but if students are not that much interested in their work then the process become very hard to 80 percent and highest package is 13 lac. College is very supportive placement in terms of getting placement but process sometime becomes hard.
Around 75K , Yes it's worth in terms of quality education.
Campus is too big , if students does not have vehicle then it becomes very hard to manage, campus is around with forest which is good thing, but unity is not there among eachother department which is very worst . And yes it can handle emergencies as security is very helpful and kind.
Not much , one will get quality education here but not a proper college life as it is a department not a college.
College infrastructure is very good. We have a big campus. A very huge campus it is. It is a lush green campus. We have wifi in whole campus. Classrooms are also good, With projector and central AC. We have well maintained and canteen too.
Academics is also very good, We have best faculties in the city. All faculties are from top B Schools. We regularly have guest lectures by well known industrial leaders. We have seminars which help us to get ready for interviews. We also have a updated curriculum.
Placements are very good in our Campus. As long as you are in top 50% of batch, You will get good package. Last year 45% students got PPO. Average salary offered is around 8-10L CTC. We also have offers for summer placements.
