Desh Bhagat Dental College and Hospital Mukatsar the forerunner in dental education opened in the year 2000 is located at Mandi goblngarh, Punjab. This constituent college which is recognised by the Dental council of India offers many dental programmes at own large land measuring acre 7. The college currently has total faculty strength of 76 committed professionals and offers under graduate and post graduate dental courses. The institution provides the learners with 5 courses in two levels of degrees in dentistry with specialisation offered in Conservative Dentistry, Orthodontic, Periodontology and Prosthodontics.
Desh Bhagat Dental College and Hospital has something to offer regarding the students’ facilities to help improve their learning experience in college. The campus consists of separated multi-story hostels for boys and girls with a total capacity of 300 students in each. The mentioned hostels having facilities like mess, T.V rooms, Indoor games etc and hot water avaiable in winter session only. The college library on average includes about 3000 books mainly of professional years of study besides the subscription of various national and international dental journal. It provides reading hall and reading accommodation of about a hundred sitting capacity, besides different number of journal and staff reading section. The hospital features 247 dental electric chair units and state-of-art instruments adopted like OPG & RVG & TMI machines, pulp vitalisers, apex locators.
