Dhubri Girl’s College, the affiliated college was formally started in 1983 at Dhubri, Assam. This is a university that has the sole purpose of imparting education for female candidates within this part of the world. Located at GTB Road, Dhubri college has many undergraduate programmes different from engineering and IT department. Approved by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), Dhubri Girl’s College can prove that it is really aimed at providing high quality of education. At present, its faculty consists of 14 dedicated teachers, and the college primarily aims to offer focused attention and support to all learners, calibrate by personality and abilities. The college has numerous institutes help to complement the unique college experience of the students.

This College provides thirteen courses in all in three degree programmes to serve the specific educational needs and career goals of the Dhubri Girl students. The college offers BA Hons. programmes, BA and BCA. The college mostly majors in under graduate, all the courses offered are full time and for regular students. Though the numbers of students intake and graduation are not clearly mentioned, the specialization of the courses inculcates the large number of students. The college curriculum enables a student to gain adequate grounding in one or more fields to enable him pursue further education or gain employment.

Like most colleges, Dhubri Girl’s College outlines an admission process that is more or less merit-based and with an element of the quota system borrowed from the integrated admission process though the process used by this College is not outlined in details.
