District Institute of Education and Training, Bharuch District Institute of Education and Training was incepted in Bharuch in the year 2010 at Zadeshwar, in the Bharuch District of Gujarat. This affiliated college is approved by NCTE and is an institute that imparts only teacher education. The campus of DIET Bharuch, spread over 10 acres, has all amenities conducive for aspiring teachers. This institute currently has a total of 94 enrolled students and a strength of 10 dedicated teachers. 

At DIET Bharuch, there is a comprehensive learning environment provided to the students with various facilities. A well-equipped library will act as a knowledge hub for the students and faculty. Gym: A state-of-the-art gym is provided in the campus for the physical fitness lovers. The campus is also adequately facilitated with excellent sports facilities to enable students to remain fit while maintaining a healthy balance between academics and physical activities. Departmental laboratories have also been set up in DIET Bharuch for practical purposes in teacher training. One can visibly see the institution's commitment to modern education through its excellent IT infrastructure, which enables students either to be exposed to the latest technology in use or keeps them conversant with the latest technological advancements happening in the field of education. 

As far as academics are concerned, DIET Bharuch has its focus only on the B.Ed. program, which is a two-year full-time course. This strong focus allows the institution to effectively channel its resources and professionally qualified manpower toward turning out competent teachers. This course is structurally designed to equip students with pedagogical skills, theoretical knowledge, and practical experience needed for successful launch in their career as teachers.

The admission process in DIET Bharuch is merit-based, subject to the policies of the State Government of Gujarat and the affiliated university. Selection of students shall be strictly based on the performance of the candidate in the qualifying examination, entrance test, or such other selection process as may be prescribed by the competent authority.
