Divine College of Education for Girls, Meerut was established in the year 2008 and is affiliated to the Dayanand Women’s Training College Bandikui for Girls, Meerut. Set up at Maukhas Village on Gar Road in the city of Meerut of the northern Indian state of Uttar Pradesh, this institution occupies a plotted area of 1.74 acres. The college is recognised by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and has a special concentration on teacher education. Currently the college has 141 students and the faculty is mapped with 16, making the learning experience close knit. 

The current programmes of study offered at Divine College of Education for Girls are limited only up to the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.), confirming its focus on training teachers in education. This college has various amenities that are aimed at improving the delivery of education to the students. An important element of campus life is a liberal equipped with all the necessary educational facilities to facilitate students’ learning needs. The college fitness needs are met by the availability of sports facilities and a gym for people to exercise and have fun in order to strengthen their bodies.

Its academic programmes are limited to the B.Ed. programme, which is a full-time programme that takes two years to complete. The college caters for girl students only. This college has an approved intake capacity of 100 seats for this programme, which clearly shows the college's potential to give quality education each and every year to a number of aspiring teacher trainees. Thus, the specialisation of this focus lets the institution concentrate on the: a) Attribution of funds and efforts to training proficient teaching professionals.

Admissions to Divine College of Education for Girls are based solely on merit in accordance with norms prescribed by the state government, U.T. administration, and affiliated university. Admission is therefore given depending on the scores the candidates got in the qualifying examination and/or the entrance exam. The college may also use other methods of recruitment as set down by the existing policies.
