Established in 2005, Divya Shiksha Gurukul College of Education, Mohali is one of the prestigious institute of Punjab. This is a co-educational institution situated along the Chandigarh-Ambala Highway in Lalru that is establish to produce future teachers. The college is an affiliated college, sprawled over five acre area and is recognised by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). Further, totally the institute has enrolment of 327 students and faculty members of 15, which serve a particular proportion of domination. Divya Shiksha Gurukul College of Education offers two professional courses in education for students at the undergraduate and post graduate levels.

The college has many features that are meant to help in improving learning as well as the overall performance of the students. The campus has boys and girls hostels which are well equipped with Austenite ventilated rooms as well as power supply system, Water Supply, and even internet service. The patients’ medical requirements can be met by an in-house medical unit, and we have arrangements with nearby hospitals to provide all-round healthcare facilities for any health crises during their visit. The college library is a store house of knowledge containing books, journals, Internet/e –Resources on educational field, DELNET facility and AQAR reports. Many people who are enthusiasts of sports will have the opportunity to be involved in the many activities that are held in the college play ground that hosts the many courts for every sport.

Divya Shiksha Gurukul College of Education offers two full-time courses. Bachelors of Education, known as B. Ed and Masters of Education, also known as M. Ed. The B.Ed program has an approved intake capacity of 100 seats and the M.Ed program intake is 50 seats. Also, both courses take two years to complete, those years equip the prospective educators with adequate knowledge, and professional skills. 

The admission is granted strictly on merit on the basis of marks obtained in qualifying examination and entrance examination conducted by the University. For the course of B.ED, candidates are admitted as per the policies of state government/UT administration and This university.
