DK Shinde College of Education, Gadhinglaj: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

DK Shinde College of Education is at Gadhinglaj in the state of Maharashtra and was established in the year 1990. This college is an education hub that provides co-education to its students. Being an affiliated college approved by NCTE, the college is sprawling over 7 acres of ground and offers three separate courses with a total enrolment of students to 50.

DK Shinde College of Education boasts itself of a number of facilities which, in total, ensure every need towards students' proper learning is fulfilled. Its campus has separate hostels for boys and girls, for students coming from afar to live comfortably. A library with reading materials of all possible categories, well equipped, shall also have a separate room for focus reading. This institution also gives importance to the physical well-being of the students, with a sports ground and a health centre which offers basic first aid. Keeping up with this digital world, the institution possesses an excellent IT infrastructure with 27 computers with internet and intranet facilities. Even for a break of fun, the college provides the students with a canteen facility. The auditorium facilitates events and seminars on campus, which helps in making the campus vibrant. Proper laboratories for practical education, an active alumni association maintaining a strong network of past and present students, and many other facilities ensure that all dimensions of the students' life are properly provided for. 

In totality, three full-time courses are followed in DK Shinde College of Education, targeting varied interests in education and school management. The college is proud of the academic portfolio that includes a three-year Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) course together with the two years MA Education course and a one year Diploma in School Management. Altogether, these courses provide 170 seats, out of which 50 are available for B.Ed, and 60 each for MA in Education and Diploma in School Management.

The admission at DK Shinde College of Education is merit-based and transparent. While referring to the Admission Policy of the state government and the university, the merit is taken into account for the admission to B.Ed. based on the marks secured in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination.
