The MBA program is the flagship of DIMR, Pune's academic offerings. This is a full-time, two-year course with an approved intake of 180 seats, envisaged to create future business leaders. Since the institute offers only one specialised programme, the concentration and effort put in are much more comparable to other institutes offering multiple courses. 

The admission process is very stringent and highly competitive at DIMR, Pune. It screens only the most promising candidates for admission to the MBA Program. The institute accepts scores of various prominent management entrance examinations like the MAH MBA CET, which is the Maharashtra MBA Common Entrance Test, the CMAT, CAT, XAT, MAT, ATMA, and GMAT. The admission process normally comprises two routes: Centralised Admission Process (CAP) rounds, that are mainly based on the scores of MHCET, and Institute Level admissions, where scores of other reputed management entrance tests are taken into consideration.
