Doaba Institute of Engineering and Technology, Mohali: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

Doaba Institute of Engineering and Technology is situated in MOHALI, PUNJAB. DIET is approved by All India Council for Technical Education; it occupies a large plot of area of 10 acres. It has 7 courses and 3 degree programmes across engineering and managers streams of study out of these 5 are regular courses and 3 are distance learning mode. DIET has a student strength of 732 but the faculty is having 80 members. 

Doaba Institute of Engineering and Technology has a wide range of arrangement to bring improvements in the learning facilities in order to help the students. The campus includes departments of separate hostels for boys and girls so that the students feel comfortable in their living spaces. Concerning the health care facilities, there exists a well-equipped dispensary on campus with a competent medical doctor together with an ambulance service in cases of accidents. Students can continue with their fitness workouts at the gym equipped with all necessary equipment.

The institute in total offers 12 programmes of study where it hosts five B.Tech programmes in Mechanical engineering, Civil engineering, Information Technology etc, 1 M.Tech and 1 MBA programme. All are full time and designed to meet the varying needs of engineering and management learning

The admission process formulated at DIET to enable consideration of all important factors while maintaining equal opportunities for all, depending on the Demand and selection criteria that Engineering institutes may use for B.Tech Programmes, national or state-level entrance examination scores are often considered.
