Domkal Girls College was established in the year 2011. It is located at Domkal, Murshidabad district, West Bengal, and affiliated to the university. The institution has a compact campus of 5 acres and offers undergraduate courses with principal thrust in the stream of arts. With an enrolment of 1613 students and a faculty force of 14, Domkal Girls College is enabled to embrace a student-centric learning environment. 

The college has a mission to provide a supported, enriched educational experience to the students. The Domkal Girls College has a number of facilities to improve the learning and all-round development of its students. The salient among them include a library that has a stock of almost 3000 books, subscribing to a number of magazines, journals, and various dailies. It is kept open six days a week, thus providing sufficient time for the students to study and research. The College Hostel offers a friendly environment with trees and lawn around, providing lodging and boarding facilities for about 60 students needing accommodation. 

Domkal Girls College offers various undergraduate courses; all of these are full-time courses. The college has 10 courses on offer, of which some include general as well as honours degrees in various subjects. The college also has courses in Geography and Physical Education. The institution also offers diploma courses in Computer Application and Networking and an Advanced Diploma in Computer Application.

The admission to Domkal Girls College is given on the basis of the result of a candidate in the qualifying examinations.
