Don Bosco College of Engineering and Technology (DBCET), Guwahati, is a highly illustrious institution providing a variety of engineering and technology courses. As a constituent college of Assam Don Bosco University, the college follows a stringent admission system to select the best and the most deserving candidates. DBCET begins its admission cycle for the session commencing in August-September largely in the months of May and June. In the case of Ph.D. admission, entrance tests and/or interviews by the university form the basis for assessing the research potential of concerned candidates. DBCET offers various courses, including five B.Tech courses-Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering-,MCA, BCA, and various M.Tech specializations. The college also runs doctoral programs in various engineering disciplines.
