Don Bosco Institute of Management Studies and Computer Applications, Bangalore was constituted in the year 2000 and it is an affiliated college in Kumbalagodu Bangalore. The institute which occupies a sprawling campus of 30 acres is a deemed university approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). Don Bosco offers four full-time degree programmes. MBA, BCA, BBA and B.Com with a maximum strength of 340 students admitted in all these courses. The number of faculty members of the institute is 10, which makes it easier for them to give better attention to a student. 

There are a host of facilities provided by the Don Bosco Institute of Management Studies and Computer Applications to improve the experience received by the students. The campus consists of boys and girls hostels, comfortable living which includes reading rooms, recreation centres and internet access. Adequate availability of a clinic with a dispensary means a student is well protected from first aid. Games and sports can be mad with basketball, volleyball, badminton and cricket respectively for the sports lovers. The institute also has up to date IT facilities which are vital for computer applications programmes.

Don Bosco Institute has in total, four programmes that are offered at the undergraduate and postgraduate level and all of them are day programmes. Out of all the courses offered, MBA course has the largest capacity of 120 students, B.Com have a capacity of 100 students, BCA and BBA each has a capacity of 60 students. This wide choice of the subjects is suitable for students who want to study management, commerce and computer science.

The enrolment procedures at Don Bosco Institute are different based on the course. For the MBA programme, entrance through PGCET, KMAT, MAT (AIMA), XAT, or CAT (IIM) common tests are considered. This policy makes certain that the institute has the opportunity to attract students with the aptitude and the abilities needed.
