Doon College of Education for Women was established in 2003 and is dedicated for women students in the state of Uttar Pradesh, India. Located at Sunderpur village on NH-72-A, Delhi-Dehradun Road, this affiliate college is devoted to putting up quality teachers. Accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), the institute also gets its approval from National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). The college has 60 students with a faculty strength of 3. It provides a focused learning environment for the budding lecturers. 

The Doon College of Education for Women college has a range of facilities that are designed to enhance the educational experience of its students. Doon College of Education for Women offers two full-time courses in education. B.Ed. is held for 100 approved seats, while D.El.Ed. has a total of 50 seats across the two courses. Both courses can prepare students to step into carrier positions in teaching work with a two-year period. Focus on two courses will be so concentrated that this college promises specific attention to teacher training and development. 

The admission process in Doon College of Education for Women differs according to the programme. The admissions for B.Ed course strictly remain on an entrance examination and counseling conducted by the respective affiliated university. Merit in D.El.Ed is based on marks obtained in the qualifying exam and/or an entrance examination. In addition to the above, the college also offers a training and placement cell to facilitate students to secure jobs once they complete their studies.
