Affiliated to the University of Uttarakhand, Doon Institute of Management and Research was established in the year 2004. The institute is located on the 9th milestone from Rishikesh-Haridwar Highway and spreads over 10.1 acres of land. DIMR offers five undergraduate programmes, becoming the approved Indian Council for Agricultural Research. The institution boasts a total student enrollment of 348, with faculty strength of 19, thereby maintaining a very conducive student-teacher ratio. DIMR provides five full-time undergraduate courses that cover a range of diverse academic interests and an array of career options. The specific intake for each course among the available list is the B. Sc. Agriculture (Hons) for 60 seats.  All courses either go in a set of three or four years, depending on the programme. The B.Sc. Agriculture (Hons) is of four years duration, whereas BBA, BCA, B.Com and B.Sc. Information Technology are of by three years.
