Dr.B.D.Jatti college of Education at Belgaum was set up in the year 1988-89, and is a reputed college imparting education to teachers. This is an affiliated college for boys and girls, founded in Ayodhya Nagar, Belgaum, Karnataka and recognised by NCTE. Located on a small piece of ground of one acre, the college provides a specialised atmosphere for preparation of teachers. And currently, the college, which has a student population of 100 and fourteen faculties, provides close and individualised learning environment.

Dr.B.D.Jatti college of Education has installed several infrastructures that should complement the learning process of the students. The college laboratories provide an appendage that is important for the practical training of teachers.
