Dr BRA GMR Polytechnic, East Godavari: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

Dr. B.R.A GMR Polytechnic is situated in East Godavari, Andhra Pradesh and has been providing standard technical education since it started off in 1987, This affiliated college is located on a total of 33.87 acres of land in Rajahmundry. The polytechnic offers three diploma courses, each of which takes three years to complete, for a student capacity of 395 in total. The faculty of the institute consists of 23 committed individuals who provide an optimal student faculty ratio to assure a quality teaching environment. 

Dr. B.R.A GMR Polytechnic College boasts to provide several amenities that most enhance a learning environment and experience. This is an advantage of a having two different hostels for boys and girls students to be able to live comfortably away from home. The fully equipped library is central to learning and research activities and caters for academic needs of the institution. Almost every department has got well equipped laboratory that lets students understand technical aspects of the degree appropriately. 

In addition, the college has an event hall for lectures and seminars, a canteen for snacks and a clinic with first aid stations. There is a gym in the college  itself for the people who are health conscious. Physical activity centres allow the students to exercise frequently and engage in different sporting activities. In terms of IT, the college provides a good ample exhibit of embracing technology in its teaching and learning processes keeping in mind the technological development in the technologically evolving world.

Dr. B.R.A GMR Polytechnic College has three full time diploma programmes which are first of their kind to provide necessary course inputs and practical exposure in their respective disciplines among the existing polytechnic institutions in the region. Out of these, the approved intake of the institute is 180 students for all the courses put together. These are Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, and Electronics and Communication Engineering with an intake capacity of 60 students for each of the programme.
