Being founded in 2019, Dr. D.P. Singh Mahavidyalaya, Shahjahanp is one of the young educational establishments situated in the Uttar Pradesh, India. This affiliated college is located in hathora bu jourag, shahajanpur in the college campus of 17.995 acres of land. Currently this institute has only two undergraduate programs and a total student capacity of 54 whereas it is employing a faculty of 12 highly professionals. Since the college is young, its mission is to deliver good quality education in the area of Agriculture and Home Science. 

This college has a number of amenities which are meant to supplement the learning process of the students. The Library, as part of academic infrastructure, has a variety of collections with about 1000 books relevant to different courses and 50 journals concerning the programs taught. Further, the college retains departmental laboratories which offers practical session for learners within the various colleges.

Dr. D.P. Singh Mahavidyalaya currently offers two full-time undergraduate courses: The following under graduate courses namely B.Sc. Agriculture (four years) and B.Sc. Home Science (three years). These programs aim at enabling students gain deep and wide understanding and skills in their areas of specialization.
