Dr. D.Y. Patil Dental College and Hospital, Pune is one of the prominent dental institutions in the region, established in 2000. The admission process of DYPDCH is strict and truly merit-based. For the BDS course, the admissions are based on the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test NEET-UG. Candidates seeking admission to the PG courses need to clear the NEET MDS examination for admission to MDS courses. The college also conducts its own All India Common Entrance Test for some courses in the Institution. The academic calendar usually follows the national dental education schedules. As such, admissions usually commence after the declaration of NEET results.
