Computer Science and Information Technology College Dr. G.Y. Pathrikar College of Computer Science and Information Technology, Aurangabad was launched in the year 2001 as one of the premier institutes of Maharashtra State, India. Affiliations and Accreditation This college is affiliated as well as accredited with 'B' Grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council. The College offers a variety of undergraduate and postgraduate level programs in Computer Science and Information Technology. The college sprawls over a massive 72-acre campus in total, with a student enrolment of 990 for all the different courses and a faculty strength of 30. This institute provides 11 courses at 3 degree levels in the branches mainly in Computer Science, Information Technology, Animation, Data Science, and Digital Marketing. Its gender ratio stands at 2:1 in males and females; hence, the learning environment will be relatively balanced. 

The college offers quite a good number of facilities to make the student experience quite enriching. The library has 250 seating and contains 3,000 books and several national and international journals. It remains open 24 hours during examination periods. IT infrastructure is up to the mark, with well-equipped laboratories for doing practical programming in languages like C, C++, Java, PHP, and Android. The school also has facilities for different sports like the swimming pool and the gym. Hostel facilities are also available for both boys and girls, with recreation rooms, well-furnished study halls, and 24/7 security. The state-of-the-art auditorium is convertible and can accommodate approximately 1,500 people; it is appropriate for various events and presentations. 

Dr. G.Y. Pathrikar College runs 7 undergraduate and 4 postgraduate programs. Undergraduate courses include B.Sc. Computer Science (Hons), B. Sc. Information Technology (Hons), BCA (Hons), and the innovative programs under B. Sc. Animation (Hons) and B. Sc. Robotics (Hons). Its PG courses include M.Sc. These incorporate undergraduate programs in Computer Science, Information Technology, Animation, and, most recently, Data Science, and an integrated five-year Data Science M.Sc. All are full-time and have as their goal a deep understanding and practical competence in their subject matter.

Admission at Dr. G.Y. Pathrikar College is mainly provided or offered to the students based on their merit, making certain that the candidates get the opportunity for taking up an admission to their respective desired course. The undergraduate courses, including B.Sc. Computer Science (Hons), B.Sc. Information Technology (Hons), and BCA, are very strictly based on merit. For an integrated M.Sc.
