Dr Kalam College of Pharmacy, Thanjavur: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

Dr Kalam College of Pharmacy, Thanjavur, which started in 2018, has shown enormous growth among the colleges affiliated to the Dr M.G.R. Medical University in Chennai. This affiliated college is established at Periyanayagipuram-Avanam Post, Peravurani Taluk, Thanjavur District, Tamil Nadu and it is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The college occupies a built-up area of 10.24 acres, and at the present time, 58 learners are studying here; there are also 20 qualified teachers and faculty members.

Dr Kalam College of Pharmacy has many amenities meant to facilitate the learning process for the learners enrolled in the college. At the center of these is a filled up central library automated with internet facility for more than 1500 books and reference volumes. The library also provides well over eighty specialised national journals, newspapers and magazines to the students for their effective study. 

Dr Kalam College of Pharmacy has a limited range of courses known in the complete list but, it mainly focuses on the Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharma) course. Being an undergraduate program, it takes four years to complete and is geared at giving the student an overall understanding of the pharmaceutical science which will enable him or her work within different fields of the pharmacy sector. 

In order to ensure that anyone is able to apply for a spot at Dr Kalam College of Pharmacy the admission process is very simple. It will probably accept marks obtained in the academic courses in relevant subjects at the 10+2 level and may also take into consideration the score in any of the pharmacy entrance exams.
