Dr. Lankapalli Bullayya College, Visakhapatnam, is a highly reputed co-educational college with numerous undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Most of the college's courses follow a merit-based admission system, while there are special entrance tests for some of the postgraduate courses. B.Sc Courses: Different B.Sc courses are available, i.e., Mathematics, Electronics and Computer Science; Mathematics, Statistics and Computer Science; Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry; Chemistry, Biotechnology and Microbiology; Mathematics, Physics and Electronics; Mathematics, Physics and Computer Science; and Chemistry, Botany and Zoology. All the B.Sc courses are admitted on merit in Intermediate or equivalent exam. Seats are 50 to 150 according to combination.

BBA: Merit admission in Intermediate or equivalent exam, with an approved strength of 100 students.

BA Combinations: The institution provides several combinations of BA such as History, Economics and Politics; History, Geography and Travel and Tourism; Politics, Public Administration and Special Telugu; History, Economics and Geography; and Psychology, Journalism and Special English. The admission is done on merit basis in Intermediate or equivalent exam and the sanctioned strength for each course is 60 students.

MCA: Admission according to a qualifying rank in APICET, by APSCHE. The admission is based on approving 120 students.

MBA: Admission according to qualifying in APICET. The admission is based on approving 120 students.

M.Sc Courses: Numerous M.Sc courses are available such as Mathematics, Computer Science, Biochemistry, Chemistry (Organic and Analytical), Biotechnology, and Microbiology. Admission is granted based on ranking in AUCET (Andhra University Common Entrance Test) or AP PGECET. Seat strength can be 24 to 40 as per course.

MA Courses: MA English and Human Resource Management are available in the college. Admission is made through AUCET or AP PGCET with an approved strength of 40 students for each course.

M.Com: Admission by rank via AUCET with an approved strength of 40 students.
