Dr. Panjabrao Deshmukh College of Law is located in the city of Amravati in Maharashtra. The college is named after Dr. Panjabrao Deshmukh who was a farmer leader, and fittingly the Minister of Agriculture in the first-ever Cabinet in independent India. The Dr. Panjabrao Deshmukh College of Law was first established even before independence in 1946, as a faculty area within the Shri Shivaji College in Amravati.
