Dr. Paul’s Engineering College, Villupuram (DPEC), occupies a position of fame and has continually strived in providing quality engineering education. This is an affiliated college that was started in 1998 in Pullichapalayam Village of Vanur Taluk, Villupuram District, Tamil Nadu. Stretching over the vast area of 11.62 acres, DPEC has been preparing the future engineers for more than 20 years. The college had a total enrolment of 279 students and well qualified faculty of 66 member.

Dr. Paul’s Engineering College offers students ample university resources that help improve the learning environment and student life. It has well-equipped laboratories in the college, which offer practical knowledge vital to the course’s delivery in engineering. For students, DPEC has hostel separately for both boys and girls where 440 boys and 150 girls can be accommodated. The college offers five BE courses which are four years full time programmes. Such programmes include BE in Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, and Civil Engineering as well as Mechanical Engineering. All classes teach materials that should give the student a good theoretical understanding of concepts but the practical side of the course is stressed as well.
