Dr Ram Kumar Gyatri Devi Mahavidhyalaya, Etah: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

Dr. Ram Kumar Gyatri Devi Mahavidhyalaya is a co-educational institution that lies in Etah, up and offering education to learners since the year 1996. This college is located in Raja ka Rampur, Aliganj and this college is spread over an area of 2.9 acres and the surrounding infrastructure gives the college an intimate environment. At the moment, the institute has developed 11 courses for the five degree programmes to suit several fields of learning. At present, the college offers education to 457 students and has a faculty of 15 members which makes the student teacher ratio ideal providing focused education to the students. 

The college has numerous amenities that have been set to improve on students’ learning process. For enthusiasts of sports the sports facilities are also available and well developed while for those who want to engage in more specialised learning than that provided in schools there is the college library. To support practical learning, Dr. Ram Kumar Gyatri Devi Mahavidhyalaya has departmental laboratories with state of the art facilities. The campus students who have a consideration for their health can get the lifter by practicing in the on-campus gym. The college also focuses on technologically enhancement through having the best IT facilities. Likewise, for public and family members, there is a properly furnished guest room/waiting room. Administrative and miscellaneous services offered by the institute include caring for the health of its community by having a medical facility within the building. Students can interactively rest at the cafeteria. The college provides transportation amenities to drive students and workers to various places. 

Dr Ram Kumar Gyatri Devi Mahavidhyalaya comprises of a wide range of different undergraduate and postgraduate courses. These are B.Sc, B.A and different Masters programmes in Zoology, Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Sociology, Hindi, Geography and English. Also, the college avails a course for intending teachers commonly known as the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed). All these courses are offered as full-time programmes and this can enable the students to undertake the full programmes of the faculties of their choices. The total intake of students is 457 which is a fair distribution with different subjects across the programmes offered.

Admission to courses being offered at Dr. Ram Kumar Gyatri Devi Mahavidhyalaya depends on the course of study. For most of the course the admission will be merit basis where marks of the qualifying examination will be considered. The B.Ed programme, however, admits students on a different basis. Students are tested on the score they get in the qualifying exam or as per the score they secure in the entrance test as per the rules and regulation of state government and university affiliated to it.
