Dr. R.K. Shanmugam College of Education currently offers one full-time course. Though it will be recommended to launch both the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) and the Diploma in Education (Dip.Ed) programmes. This two-year programme aims to produce professional and emotionally committed teachers with an accredited enrolment of one hundred students. The B.Ed course prepares students to have the most effective pedagogy skills and knowledge for successful performance in the teaching fraternity. As the college develops this central programme, it provides an overall tutorial provision to enhance the students for the demands of contemporary education.
