Dr. Ram Manohar Singh Post Graduate College is commonly called Dr. RMS PG College, located in Faizabad, Uttar Pradesh. The institute was established in 2002 and is an affiliated college. The college is spread over 15 acres and ensures a great learning and growing ambience. Student-Faculty strength at 17 to 288 in number. There is a wide range of facilities available in the college which helps to extract productive results from students. A well-equipped library serves as a warehouse of knowledge catering to the needs of students with books and resources on varied subjects. The college also has departmental laboratories which give one a real and useful experience of the fields that they are indulging in. Good IT setup helps in making the students aware of the leading advances in technology. Apart from this, the college also provides sports facilities to the students for physical fitness as well as to develop a spirit of teamwork. 

Dr. Ram Manohar Singh Post Graduate College also has an auditorium used to conduct many events and seminars that develop a good academic environment. Dr. RMS PG College offers six courses in three different programmes, which vary in academic interests. The courses provided by the college are full-time and are available at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The undergraduate degree programme that can be availed by an interested student is the Bachelor's degree in Arts i.e. BA. For the more advanced students, there are the five postgraduate courses: MA in Hindi, MA in Sociology, MA in Geography, MA in Ancient History, and a B.Ed programme for those students who wish to be able to teach. A specific intake of students for this programme is not given, but the intake of students across the five programmes is 288, thereby establishing a very close and communicative learning environment. 

The admission process at Dr. RMS PG College is course-specific. Admission for most programmes is normally based on acquired merit in the qualifying examination. Not so with the B.Ed programme, as admission has to be more procedural. Candidates will be selected on results achieved in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examinations, if applicable. Any other selection process, if applicable, shall be based on policy relevant to the State Government, U.T. Administration, and the university. This, therefore, will guarantee that the eligible candidates from various backgrounds have been given the chance to pursue a study in their desired subject. 

National Council for Teacher Education has validated Dr. RMS PG College indicative of the quality teacher education provided. Though, not much information is available regarding scholarship but the college bears a mission for imparting quality education to its students. As an affiliated college, it derives all academic standards and resources from the parent university but provides students a fusion of conventional values and modern education.
