Dr. SG Reddy Polytechnic, the oldest private Polytechnic of Bangalore was set up in 1987 in Karnataka. Located in a 3 acres of land, this polytechnic has an intake of five diploma courses in engineering streams. Recognised by the Directorate of Technical Education, Bangalore the institute is focused on imparting quality technical education. The staff of Dr. SG Reddy Polytechnic consists 9 members of faculty and the main directions of activity are practical orientation and academic achievements. The programmes are Diploma in Civil Engineering, Diploma in Computer Science Engineering, Diploma in Electronics and Communication Engineering, Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and Diploma in Electrical Engineering. All courses take three calendar years, and are planned to give the students sound preparation in the selected branch of engineering.
