Dr ZH PG College, Etah: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

Dr. Z.H. PG College, located in Etah district, was set up in 2000. Affiliated College was established in Uttar Pradesh, India. Having a rather large area of 6.98 acres, this institution can host 18 courses in ten degree programs. The college is recognised by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), so it provides good quality education for its teacher education programmes. Dr. Z.H. PG College has a total intake capacity of 420 students and 9 faculties to assist various disciplines of agriculture, sciences, arts, commerce, and education available for students. 

The college also has developed various amenities aimed at improving the functionality of the student community. Sports personnel can use the college sports fields, while other persons who love cultural activities can use the college auditorium for events, seminars, and other meetings. The library has a central location with other facilities, including well-equipped various departmental practical laboratory facilities aiding the students. Maintenance of health is embraced to provide health centres for first aid and facilities for fitness through a gym. IT facilities provide students with communication means within today’s society based on the college’s management. There is a canteen for serving food to the staff and students; a guest house for the accommodation of guest faculty members and students’ families. 

Dr. Z.H. PG College has in its portfolio most of the courses offered, 18 full-time programmes at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. It offers programs in various fields of study and comprises an overall enrolment of 1,880 students in all courses offered in the college. Some of these are B.Sc. Agriculture, B.A., B.Sc. (Botany, Chemistry, and Zoology) with seating capacity of 360 each, and B.Com. for 180 students. At the postgraduate level, the college offers M.Com. in 180 seats and M.Sc. in Agronomy, Horticulture, Zoology, Botany, Chemistry, and Physics, each having 30 seats. The college also offers B.Ed. & D.El.Ed. professional courses having 100 & 50 seats, respectively.

The admission procedure at Dr. Z.H. PG College again differs from course to course. In most programs, therefore, the entry requirements are introduced based on the quality attained in the entrance examination. But D.El.Ed. special college may also have an admission test or admission policy of the state government/UT administration for specific courses for the admission process.
