Elijah Institute of Management Studies was started in 2004. The MBA course is offered in the specialisation, of marketing management, finance management, and international business The fees payable for the MBA programme at ELIMS Thrissur is Rs 2, 70,000.

The admission process at ELIMS Thrissur is based on the scores from national-level management test like CAT (Common Admission Test), CMAT (Common Management Admission Test) and KMAT Kerala (Kerala Management Admission Test) conducted at state level. The selection process is based on entrance test scores (80%) followed by the group discussion (10%) and the personal interview (10%). ELIMS Thrissur offers scholarships to deserving and needy students.
