Elite Public B Ed College, Palamu: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

The Elite Public B.Ed. College of Palamu is one of the affiliated colleges situated in Chianki, Medininagar, Palamau, Jharkhand that started its journey back in 2012. This co-educational institution is recognised by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), which enshrines quality education in the field of teacher training. Officially operating on a tiny plot of 0.899 acres of land, the college is loyal to its niche and offers only two courses, although 161 students apply for them, and the college employs only dedicated 27 employees who are all professionals.

The college has several features that provide for improved learning environment for the college students. Ample collection of over 5774 books including educational CDs and journals serve the students needless to say for pursuing a constructive manner of academics as a library. The attachment to the rounded development of a student is evident through the provision of games facilities; indoor games such as chess, carom as well as outdoor games like badminton and volley ball. About academic and extra curricular activities the colleges offer an auditorium. Prospective teachers are able to practice in well-equipped departmental laboratories. This institution also seeks to ensure students’ health by providing a health and physical resource center. 

Elite Public B.Ed. College, Palamu offers two full-time courses, a B.Ed programme with 100 and D.El.Ed programme with 50 numbers of seats. These programmes are intended to meet this increasing demand for well prepared teachers.

The admission in all the courses of Elite Public B.Ed. College, Palamu is done on merit system; on the basis of marks secured in a particular examination either qualifying or entrance examination. The college conforms to the admission policies of the Jharkhand state government and the university to which it is affiliated. In the case of B.Ed programme, the candidates have to appear for the selection test as per the norms of the state or they have to take part in entrance examination as per the rules of the state government and the universities. Likewise, for D.EL.ED programme, admission can be obtained by merit in the qualifying examination or through entrance test as per policy of state government/UT administration.
