Emerald Heights College for Women is a premier women’s college situated in the Ooty in the Nilgiri Hills of Tamil Nadu and was set up in 1969. The women’s college is located in Golf Links Road, Finger Post, Udhagamandalam and for the past more than five decades, it has been empowering the young generation. Emerald Heights College is a NAAC accredited and an affiliated college providing multidisciplinary courses to the students. The total number of students is 656 and a total of 19 faculty members implying a small learner centred institution. At present, the institution provides 21 course across 10 degree programme, which are cutting across discipline and level.

Emerald Heights College for Women has made available great facilities with the aim of improving the already existing education standards of the learners. Practical classes and trainings have been facilitated by well-equipped laboratory for students to engage in.
