ERK College of Education, come into existence in the year 2007, is an affiliated college situated in Dharmapuri, Tamil Nadu. This is a co-educational institution which has been recognised by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). Located on a small plot of 0.7 acre area, the college provides a favourable environment for the future educators. ERK College of Education has the capacity to admitting two hundred and twenty five students and with these faculty of twenty five, the college has an ideal student teachers ration that improves the ability of customised teaching and learning. In accordance with the present academic programmes, the institution has only one degree provision, that is, Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) for those with passion to shape the young generations.

ERK College of Education has a multitude of amenities intended to maintan facillitate the learning process of students. A well-equipped library is a knowledge base that plays critical role of offering necessary resources for research. The campus has smart classes with modern teaching tools to aid in creating better learning atmosphere. Certain practicals are managed through departmental fitted laboratories and the college provides those for use.

ERK College of Education is specialised college for teacher education providing full time B.Ed programme with intake 100 approved valid. This is a two-year course, which provides students basic knowledge, skills, and teaching practices that are helpful for a teaching profession. Thus, the focus on the qualified educators’ production explains the college’s specialised programmes and practical training orientations. 

The process of admission to ERK College of Education follows the guidelines set out by the State Government/U.T. Administration and the affiliated university. Selection to the B.Ed admission is strictly on the merit basis with regards to marks secured in the qualifying examination along with the marks secured in the entrance examination, if held.
