Excellence Institute of Higher Education, Meerut was established in 2015 which is a private affiliated college at Jewri, Pawli Road, N.H. 58, Meerut (U.P.). The institute is recognised by National Council for Teacher Education [NCTE (Recognition No. UP/NCTE/ER-BEd/ BT/2015/4518)] and is affiliated to Chaudhary Charan Singh university, meerut. Located at a one and quarter acres campus the institute offers two course combinations in the major of Education. Excellence Institute of Higher Education offers quality education for a cohort of 320 students with a faculty of 32 members. The institute remains coeducational and is open to all genders in the society for students. Excellence Institute of Higher Education, Meerut comprises of various state of art infrastructure to cater to all the academic and overall needs of the students. 

The library of the institute occupies a large area and is equipped with the most necessary literature to meet the needs of students and researchers. Modern, well lit, and well stocked laboratories provide opportunities for students to work practically out the theories they learn. In fact, the institute’s IT facilities enable the student to have the best technology and electronic gadgets. For physical health education, Lincoln College of Missouri has a gym and different types of weights and equipments. The cafeteria can also be view as a social space where people can go enjoy a meal or just take a snack. Health care facilities are also a location to make available good health care services to patients, when the need arises. Academic dialogue and cultural events are conducted in an auditorium which contributes to the students’ learning process. Sporting grounds and gymnasiums exist to provide various targets of the student’s kind of physical activities in their fight against obesity. 

The institute provides two complete time courses of the field of Education. These are a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) course and a Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) course. Both programs take four semesters to complete and are offered over two years. Total sanctioned intake for B.ED is 100 and for D.EL.ED it has not mentioned the number of intake. These programs are intended to produce professional teachers and managers of educational institutions.

In respect of the B.Ed programme, it is the responsibility of the concerned College / Institution to admit the students on merit in the qualifying examination / entrance test / any other mode as per the decision of the State Govt./ U.T, the policy of University / Institution as the case may be. Likewise for D. El. Ed program it is strictly merit based depending on the marks obtained in the qualifying test and/or entrance test as per policy of the State Government or UT Administration. These coils are located approximately 13 Km away from Meerut City Railway Station and 9. 7 Km from Meerut Bus Stand; hence can be easily accessed by students coming from different parts of the region.
