FMS Udaipur or Faculty of Management Studies, Janardan Rai Nagar Rajasthan Vidyapeeth is a constituent college in the year 1996. It is approved with All India Council for Technical Education and is located in the Pratap Nagar, Udaipur offering specialised management education. FMS Udaipur provides two postgraduate programmes: MBA and MHRM so that a total of 110 students will be taken into the programme. The institute consists of a small area of 0.53 acre and is under the governing of 5 members of faculty. Established to propagate quality education, the faculty FMS Udaipur has successfully established itself in management field students which are from all different fields.

Faculty of Management Studies equipped the institute with centre of excellence facilities that help to facilitate learning. FMS Udaipur boasts of a full-fledged computerised library having 75 number of P-III and P-IV computers, availability of licensed software and laser printer that allows students in utilising state-of-art applications in management practice. The library, an abstraction of knowledge, is a storehouse and has books, journals, national and international management cases. It remains open from 10:From 00 to 17:00 and is linked to the UGC info line providing access to 14 500 online journals. The modern auditorium which has a seating capacity of three hundred participants is a view of seminar, extension lectures and exhibitions and project exhibitions among students.

FMS Udaipur offers two full-time postgraduate programmes: MBA and MHRM education programmes, Master of Business Administration and Master of Human Resources Management. Each programme takes two years and is delivered in four semesters. At present, the MBA programme has a total of sixty students’ intake capacity, and the MHRM has taken a total intake capacity of fifty students. The curriculum which has been set by the institute has been aimed to prepare the Students to face the competitive World of Management.

The admission process of FMS Udaipur is very competitive and vast. For the MBA programme, candidates who have completed CAT/MAT and other all India Management Entrance tests approved by the university and who have secured minimum 50%’ marks need not appear for the written test. The admission in the MHRM is done based on an overall merit list prepared out of 200 marks of different processes in the admission procedure. The institute follows the scores obtained from the Scalars common standardised tests for admission which include the CAT (Common Admission Test) and MAT (Management Aptitude Test).
