Situated at Naugachia in the state of Bihar, Gajadhar Bhagat College was founded in 1958. This institution encompasses a massive area of 10 acres, accredited by NAAC, thus confirming the assurance of quality education this college aims to provide. It has an enrolment of 3,294 students with a faculty strength of 18 and has an extended, comprehensive curriculum with 18 different courses under 7 degree programs. 

This college has a number of state-of-the-art facilities, which work towards enriching the learning process of students. One among them is its well-stocked library with a vast collection of almost 32,000 books in various subjects. It also has a well-spaced reading room for students to consult reference books and periodicals. It has a computer laboratory where students develop IT skills and provide internet services for researching purposes. The college also offers departmental laboratories to the students in science courses to enable their practical study and development. Wi-Fi is enabled throughout the campus; therefore, students or faculties can access online resources under it.

Gajadhar Bhagat College offers a wide spectrum of undergraduate and postgraduate programs, including 18 full-time courses across various disciplines. Its academic portfolio comprises arts, sciences, commerce, professional courses, etc., thereby covering diverse academic interest areas.                                          

The admission procedure in Gajadhar Bhagat College is based essentially on Merit and follows a reservation policy so that due shares can be provided to all eligible candidates. The college admits students to most of the undergraduate programs through a Merit Cum Reservation system. For professional courses, including an MBA, the admission process includes an admission test, group discussion, and personal interview, subject to the reservation policy. The admission process for MCA is merit-based.
