Gangamai College of Engineering, Dhule, was started in the year 1991 as a well-established institution. The college sprawlingly stretches over 48 acres of campus at Nagaon, Dhule district, Maharashtra. GCED is an affiliated college approved by AICTE and imparts different engineering programmes. The total student enrolment is 639 and faculty strength 41, which provides a very good student-to-teacher ratio for imparting quality education.

The college has several facilities to make the students' campus life more enjoyable. Gangamai College of Engineering maintains individual in-hostel facilities for both boys and girls so that out-of-station students are comfortable in terms of adequate living. The library is well-stocked, and the laboratories are well-equipped with modern equipment. Besides, there happens to be a health centre with first-aid facilities. It has a total of 6 courses with 2 degree levels, wherein the majority of classes come from engineering disciplines. The institute offers 5 full-time B.Tech programmes and 1 full-time M.Tech program. The B.Tech programmes are Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Electrical Engineering—each of which is 4 years in duration. The M.Tech programme is in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering and spans 2 years.

The admission procedure to Gangamai College of Engineering, Dhule is primarily based on entrance examinations. The institute accepts two major examination scores: the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) and the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test.
