Gangarathi Teaching and Training Institute, Faizabad: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

Gangarathi Teaching and Training Institute was inaugurated in 2014 in Faizabad, Uttar Pradesh. With nearly a decade of history well associated with shaping the future educators, this affiliated college is located in the beautiful village of Rajepur in a small compact campus of 0.62888 acres. The institute maintains an ideal student-teacher ratio by the enrolment of 93 students and a faculty strength of 11 for delivering personalised attention.

A rich variety of facilities are provided by Gangarathi Teaching and Training Institute for facilitating the learning process of its students. A knowledge-centre, with its wide collection of books and references, fulfills the research and study needs of the students. Departmental laboratories provide sufficient opportunity for hands-on training required in the profession. The college has good infrastructure for IT, keeping students familiar with modern educational technologies. The needful breaks for refreshment are provided within the campus by a cafeteria. Facilities at the health centre take care of all health and safety concerns with a first aid facility. The institute provides facilities, such as parking space for cars and guest rooms for visiting faculties and family members. The sports facilities provide for fair distribution of educational activities focusing on the physical well-being of students as much as their academic growth.

Gangarathi Teaching and Training Institute, at present, teaches just one main course- the B.Ed programme. This is a full-time two-year programme meant to provide the student with what it takes to get the student through their career in teaching. The institute has been sanctioned for an intake of 100 seats for this programme, giving an idea that it could be capable of nurturing a hundred or so future educators each year. That focused approach allows the institute to channel its resources and expertise into delivering a high-quality teacher training programme. 

Admission strictly in compliance with the policies of the State Govt, UT Administration and the affiliated university. Students were admitted on the basis of qualifying examination or entrance tests, and as per other specified processes. This over-all process helps in the selection of concerned and able students for B.Ed. The institute was NCTE approved; the course curriculum and teaching standards met the requirements at the national level.
