Ganjam College, Ganjam: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

Ganjam College, recognised in 1969, is a unit of the Odisha government and is of affiliated college located in Ganjam, Odisha. There is only one institution located in this area on a 3.075 acre of land and has been in existence for over 50 years. The college provides 15 courses in 6 degree programmes to support a student enrolment of 914 students. The college has a strong pool of 34 committed faculties in its team and hence the guitarist student faculty ratio is maintained optimally.

The college has many amenities that are intended to improve the general learning environment. A library should have a good number of books and other academic resources to enable students to meet their study needs. For those who are interested in fitness and physical exercise, a college provides a sports and gym. It has all the modern gadgets of IT produced to allow students to interact in today’s technological world. An auditorium is useful for purposes of staging events and seminars that encourage an active campus life. It also has departmental laboratories essential for pragmatic education in sciences offered by the college. Also, a health centre which accommodates first aid facilities is provided for in the case there are any health complications.

At present Ganjam College provides complete array of undergraduate courses and all the courses are of full time intakes. The academic offerings span across three main streams: Arts, Commerce, and Science. In Arts stream students can opt for general admission for the Degree of the Bachelor of Arts or join special honour courses in Odia, Political Science, English, History, Economics and Philosophy. In the Commerce stream, the college has two courses – B.Com and B.Com (Hons). A general B.Sc is available for science lovers while honours courses are available in Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology and Mathematics.
