Ganpati Institute of Science and Technology, Ghaziabad was established in the year 2002. It is an affiliated college in Sahibabad, Uttar Pradesh. This co-educational institute spreads over a 1.25-acre campus with a wide variety of undergraduate programmes. The institute is also approved by the National Council for Teacher Education, New Delhi, for its teacher training programmes. GIST offers a focused learning environment where the current enrolment is 135, and the faculty strength is 12. The institute offers four different degree programmes: B.Ed, BBA, BA, and B.Com, thereby satisfying different academic interests and career aspirations. 

GIST offers a wide range of facilities to improve the learning experience of students. It provides a knowledge storehouse with a huge library that stockpiles books, periodicals, journals, magazines, and audiovisual aids on education, general awareness, and development of personality. The institute provides all kinds of facilities for games like football, table tennis, carrom, kho-kho, athletics, badminton, and chess for the students who have a passion for sports and physical activities. The IT infrastructure is the latest and most modern. They also have a computer lab fitted with the latest software such as Windows, MS Office, Oracle, Java, and C++. 

Science enthusiasts have well-furnished laboratories and include a mathematics lab and a psychology lab as per NCTE guidelines. In all, the institution has four undergraduate courses that are full-time. These include B.Ed, BBA, BA, and B.Com. This institute's flagship course is B.Ed. with an approved intake of 100 seats.

Ganpati Institute of Science and Technology offers admission based on the respective program. Admission to B.Ed. shall be based on the merit obtained in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination. It will also be governed by the policies enunciated by the State Government, UT Administration, and the affiliated University. For other courses like BBA, BA, and B.Com, the admission procedures follow more or less similar merit-based criteria for admission.
