Gayatri Shaktipeeth Kanya Mahavidyalaya, Pushkar,which was stablished in 1988 is an Affliated college of Rajasthan University, Ajmer. This is a women’s educational institute which is located across the Gurudwara in Pushkar and is ideal for the female students. This college occupies a consolidated area of about 1.5 acres of land and at present the college is having a total of 238 students in different classes and a faculty of seven teachers only. As for today the institute is ranked as one of the major undergraduate institutions; however, it provides only one programme –Bachelor of Arts (BA).

Gayatri Shaktipeeth Kanya Mahavidyalaya has made it its responsibility to make available several amenities meant to supplement the learning of its students. One of the most noteworthy facilities is a library, which includes 3600 books of different subjects, newspapers, magazine and journal. Students get an opportunity to borrow the books and in so doing supporting their programmes. The institution also has subject based laboratories for practical session. For extra-curriculum activities and functions, the college has an auditorium for seminars and cultural programmes. There are IT facilities that will enable the campus to have all that is required in the modern colleges. A canteen serves the purposes of providing munching needs of the staff and the students while the games and athletic facilities are available to foster physical exercise or leisure.

Gayatri Shaktipeeth Kanya Mahavidyalaya is a three-year full time BA programme which contains a semester system. It remains the fundamental component in the array of provided educational programmes of the institute thanks to its commitment to humanities.
