Thapar institute of engineering offers the degree of BE (bachelor of engineering).you can pursue your degree in various branches such civil engineering, chemical engineering ,electrical engineering etc .

Along with BE it provides other UG programs like IEP(International Engineering Program) and BE -MBA(dual degree program)

How is Infrastructure and environment of Thapar Institute Of Engineering And Technology for girls hostels ?

TIET hostels consist of 5 block E, G, I, PG and N and perhaps the most hygienic and close to the home experience you’ll get. Each block in the hostel has a separate arrangement of water purifiers & bathrooms with geysers. There is a high-speed internet connection in each block. GYM facility is also provided to students. BE/Btech in computer science engineering eligibility criteria for Thapar Institute Of Engineering And Technology in the year 2019?

Hey Deepika, if you are planning to get admission in a BTech course in Delhi or Patiala side and want to know that which colleges accept the JEE entrance exams marks then there are few colleges which are best and topmost engineering colleges in India that are located in Punjab side.

One of them is Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology With past 60 years in teaching engineering and is ranked 20 in the latest NIRF ranking to prove its mettle.

Admission to BE/BTech programs shall be conducted through two different modes in Thapar University:

1) 70% of the total BE/BTech seats shall be filled on the basis of percentile-based merit of JEE Main – 2019.

First JEE exam was conducted in January 2019 and the next JEE will be conducted in April 2019 out of which best of both the marks would be considered.

2) 30% of the total BE/BTech seats shall be filled on the basis of merit of marks secured in 10+2 or equivalent examination in the aggregate of three subjects, namely, Physics, Mathematics and any one subject out of Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, and Technical Vocational subject.

Is iet and aktu are different universities for btech ???

IET is the institute name which is affiliated by AKTU and takes UPSEE scores for Btech admission.

After physical reporting IET have displayed vacant seat {IT-5 } {Mech-20} my rank 6367gen& 1616-obc in UPTU.can i get admisson 2018.please.

As per 2017 trends, cutoff closing rank at IET Lucknow under UPSEE for General category in IT engineering is 2782 and for Mechanical engineering its 3346.

Your ranking is 6367, hence low chances expected fir both IT and Mechanical engineering.

However you can get Chemical engineering at IeT Lucknow under General category.

I got iet for mba and fee also submit can i go for spot round to change college in Spot round if I could not get this then I have remain iet

Hello Madan,
Why you want to leave IET. It is very decent college. After exclusion of HBTI and MMMTU, It is only college of AKTU that has good rating and ranking. If you still want to go for further round of counselling then you can go for it. But it make no sense to get better option than IET.

How is mba of iet is it worthing

Firstly I would like to ask by which aspect do you want to pursue MBA, is it just for having a job after PG from government college or its having a well profound career in business administration field.

See IET is an engineering specialized college thus if you want to pursue its well an good go for it.. And you will have a apportunity for a decent job around 3 or 3.5 LPA.

But seriously if you are a meritorious one go for IIM or any other reputed private college coming under CAT because it will not only lead to good job and career but also your business personality is developed in mba specialized college.

But is it just only to have job and steady career u can opt IET.
