Ask yourself which do you like more, computer or machines? It is not about the college you should think first. You should first be clear about the branch as compute and mechanical are pretty different branches. If you are interested in both, then let me inform you that SGSITS is a far better college than IET DAVV but then again Computer Science is in demand everwhere. Go for a branch which suits you better.

As the results are recently declared the cutoffs are not yet decided, so we will not be able to give you the exact information.By seeing the previous years cutoffs it is difficult for you to get IET, Lucknow as its cutoff are very high. You can try some good private colleges like:

• J.S.S. Academy of Technology Education, Noida
• Galgotias College of Engineering & Technology, Greater Noida
• Ajay Kumar Garg Engineerring College, Ghaziabad
• Krishna Institute of Engineering and Technology, Ghaziabad

The closing rank 2017 of civil engineering in Lucknow IET college was 2380 for general category. For obc it was 3091and for sc it was 8493. The closing ranks can have some deviations it can't be 100% accurate.
