Hello Kreeti,

Based on your rank there are some good colleges where you can apply. Some of the branches which you can get with ease are like CSE, IT, Electronics and communication, electrical and Electronics and instrumentation.

So opening and closing rank of above branches of IET for the year of 2017 was:-

Electrical           1960                           2837

Now other than this some of the colleges where you can apply based on your rank are:

Kamla Nehru Institute of Technology,

I would also suggest you, read reviews of other students of the college of your choice. It will help you to know more about that college education system, Placements etc.

Hope you find this information useful. Have a great future ahead.

You may be a chance to get IET college if you wait till the last round, but u can't get the core branches. But by getting good marks in first year, you can change your branch. It is better to take IET college than any other college in AKTU

To get admission in IET your rank matters not marks because level of paper may vary with respect to previous years papers but you should try to score atleast 450 marks (under 3000 rank)to deserve some core branches .One more thing that during counselling you should have patience because in last round of counselling you can get a drastic favorable change in your gained choice however your rank is more than 5000 many people don’t know this thing so that a few get this opportunity. But now you should first revise your syllabus thoroughly and go for mock tests it will really help you to score well dude.

Hi Saurabh,

LLB (HonsLaw is very different from a traditional three-year law degree. It's designed to be the most relevant and rounded degree-level education available to help you achieve your career ambitions.

The first truly professional three-year undergraduate law degree.

BA LLB targeting the students with an interest to pursue legal action education with legal sciences to benefit society.

Creation of well trained and dedicated professional in the legal framework.

IET is very good option in comparison AKG . Main benefit in fees because IET Lucknow is gov.college and AKG is private. In placement AKG is good for CS/IT branch mainly but in IET many companies also come and placement is good.if you want to qualify GATE ,CAT then IET is right choice .choice is always yours

Hello Himanshu,

Look every year, UPSEE is conducted with a separate cut-off for General, OBC and SC/ST categories. The qualifying cut-off of UPSEE is usually 25% of total marks for Gen/OBC candidates while for SC/ST it is 20%. As you know that the number of applicants in these exams is too high. So try to apply simultaneously in multiple colleges. As no college has started its counseling yet, so you have some to time to decide. So go through the following link. Try to find branch as per your passion and desired skill set, read reviews of other students as it will help you to know more about the college culture and education system. Https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/upsee-participating-institutes

Hope you find this information useful.

No chance, it is the best in AKTU aka UPTU. With 61% marks in MBA, getting IET is very tough, out of reach. You have good score, try to focus on getting colleges like Galgotias, GL Bajaj, AKGIM, IMS, NIET, RKGIT, KIET etc.

Hey dear your marks are good enough to get you mechanical engineering so don’t worry

good luck

Dear dv ganesh
