GGS College of Modern Technology is a professional institute and located in Mohali Punjab which was founded in the year 2002, is renowned college in Punjab. This is co-educational institute is located on 13 acres of land off Chandigarh-Ludhiana Highway at Kharar, SAS Nagar and offers a wide programme specials in various fields. Recognized by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) affiliated collegiate GGS College has emerged as one of the premier institutions imparting value added education in engineering, management & computer applications. The college now boasts of 379 students and a faculty of 25, and this means assurance to the students of orderly learning without compromising on quality and individual attention for each learner.

As for the infrastructures, GGS College of Modern Technology provides a broad set of structures aimed at improving the activity and the results of learning processes. Available on the campus are professional laboratories that accommodate civil engineering, electronics and communication, mechanical and computer engineering departments as well. Learning Resource Development Centre (LRDC) is the control room of the instituion that hosts a modern library facility which can compete with any of the best business schools in India. We have accommodations for students with a separate hostels for boys and girls, fully furnished, centrally air conditioned and non air conditioned rooms are available, including gym facilities, playgrounds and prayer centres. A medical facility, cafeteria, an auditorium and Wi-Fi facility is also available in the campus.

Presently, GGS College of Modern Technology teaches total of 12 courses in 6 programmes of study to meet various needs of the students. A variety of undergraduate and postgraduate courses are offered by the institute and all of the offered courses are full time. The flagship programmes comprising the Engineering College are the B.Tech programmes for Electronics and Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering and Civil Engineering each of which has a strength of 60 per year except for the Civil Engineering which has an intake capacity of 30. It also runs MBA an MCA courses with a capacity of 60 and 30 students respectively. Further, recently, the institute has started programmes like B.Sc majoring in Cardiac Care Technology, Radiology and Imaging Technology, Operation Theatre Anesthesia Technology … enhancing the institute’s curriculum in the field of healthcare.
