GH Patel College of Engineering and Technology (GCET Anand) started functioning in 1996. It is a privately owned institute. The college has nine departments some of which are the Department of Chemical Engineering, the Department of Information Technology, Department of Applied Science and Humanities. GH Patel College of Engineering and Technology was a constituent college of Charutar Vidya Mandal University.
The GH Patel College of Engineering and Technology Anand offers undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in the field of engineering and technology. - During Pandit Deendayal Energy University placements 2022, students who were placed, received the highest salary package of INR 20 LPA. Some of the top recruiting companies that participated in the placements drive included Jio Platforms Ltd., Cognizant, Capgemini, Adani Wilmar and ITC Ltd., among various others. PDPU ranks 55th in the engineering category according to NIRF.
