Ghatal College of Education, Paschim Medinipur: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

Ghatal College of Education is a relatively young institution, started in Paschim Medinipur District, West Bengal, in the year 2016. This is a co-educational college affiliated to an institution approved by NCTE. The institution has a compact campus of 0.74625 acres and mainly focuses on providing quality education in the teaching field. Ghatal College of Education ensures a personalized learning experience by having a total enrolment of students amounting to 228, and a faculty strength of 35.

Admission to Ghatal College of Education is taken through merits based on marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination. The college strictly follows the policies framed by the state government of West Bengal and the affiliated university with regard to its admission process. Applicants seeking admission to the B.Ed. course are selected in accordance with their performance in the qualifying examination or a selection process as prescribed by the state government and university. Similarly, the admissions to the D.El.Ed course are made based on the merit obtained in the qualifying examination or by entrance examination, subject to the existing policy of the concerned state government or UT administration.
