GIS College Sagar was established in 2008 and is an affiliated college at Pathariya Jat Sagar Madhya Pradesh. This co-educational institution comes under the NCTE, National Council for Teacher Education that provides specialised education programmes. GIS College occupies a small area of 1 acre and offers education to 195 total number students, faculties of the college are 16 highly committed professionals. The college currently offers two full-time degree programmes: B.Ed / Bachelor of Education and D.El.Ed / Diploma in Elementary Education for the latest generation teacher education.

Thus, the college has all the facilities that are supposed to help the students to learn more effectively. These include a large and containing over 4,555 books library  adequately stocked for student’s education needs. For practical learning, GIS College has an equipped Biology, Physics and Chemistry laboratory having all required scientific instruments and models. It also places emphasis on implementation of technologies in the facility whereby they have an allocated computer technological facility within the school complete with computers, internet, head projectors, television sets, education CDs, and overhead projectors. This combination of conventional and progressive teaching aids creates a good basis for preparing students for the contemporary educational environment.
