Global Institute of Engineering and Technology (GIT)  is a private engineering college situated in Vellore, Tamil Nadu. It was established in 2009 and is affiliated to Anna University, Chennai and is approved by AICTE. GIT Vellore offers various engineering courses at UG and PG levels such as BE, BTech, and ME with different specialisations

GIT Vellore admission to these courses is based on the entrance exams conducted by the state or national authorities. For BE/ BTech courses, candidates have to appear for the TNEA exam and participate in the counselling process. For ME courses, candidates have to appear for the GATE or TANCET exam and participate in the counselling process. The GIT Vellore cutoffs are determined by the entrance exam authorities based on the number of applicants, seats available, difficulty level of the exam, etc.
